Punggol Regional Library

Launched just 2 days ago, am really intrigued by how connected the first 2 junior floors are. A great space for the little ones to explore the wealth of information there. But does anyone still head to the library? What does a library symbolise?

Am heartened to see the many workrooms in the upper floors, suitable for students or working adults to hold their discussions. Perhaps a new form on library can be designed? A giant space of hot desks to cater to the demands of people looking to gain, exchange or share information. Let’s not read too much into it
