The start of something.

I have started a new blog! Was using Zenfolio, but didn’t liked it all that much, the design language was a bit different, and I wasn’t all that motivated to fill it with content. Fast forward a few years, I watched too many YouTube videos singing the praises of Squarespace, hence I decided to give it a shot. To be precise, give it a shot for 2 years. If nothing comes out of it, I shall reflect and try something different, meanwhile, lets start with an album I have been creating for the past 2 months.

Well we all know what CoVid’ 19 did, in Singapore, Circuit Breaker was implemented and basically we all had to stay home and only travel out of home for essentials. It didn’t fare well for photographers, and for someone with two children, we now had to juggle our time between work and attending to them. I am very thankful for supportive parents, parents in law and wife who really helped me through this phase. I started to take photos of them in only monochrome, to really bring out the emotions during this period of time. The photos were shot on Fujifilm GFX 50R and 50mm F3.5. I am currently on a One Camera, One Lens project, so all photos have a consistent look to them. After Circuit Breaker, I shall resume using Classic Chrome, but I am starting to enjoy monochrome again.
