The vortex

We brought them to jewel over the weekend to enjoy the sights and sounds of the HSBC Rain Vortex. Love this place!

On a separate note, I happen to be discussing about photography with a fellow shooter, and I shared some views of my own:

1) I only have one camera and one lens. Limiting yes, but I don’t have to decide what to bring when I head out. I merely focus on what I am able to capture.

2) I am starting to love monochrome photography again. Especially on Acros mode on my Fujifilm. But why not shoot RAW and post process? Well, I want to get everything right in camera, including exposure, highlights shadows and colour. Life is too short to be spent on hours of editing images.
